It is the story of a mystery that goes back a hundred years: in the attic, 19-year-old Felix comes across a letter and map belonging to his great-great-grandfather Giacomo Lombardi who disappeared during the construction of the original Gotthard tunnel. With the help of his friends Annik and Joe, he sets out to find Giacomo’s final resting place – and encounters dangers lurking in the past…
We don’t want to give away too much more about SBB’s tale of adventure, “The Golden Amulet”, at this stage. However, if you would like to know how Felix and his friends fare on their quest and what surprises are in store for the trio in the mystical region of St. Gotthard, then keep an eye on www.sbb.ch/en/gotthard.
The online series, which runs over five episodes, is currently being filmed in the Saint-Gotthard Massif. Would you like to know what drones have to do with alpacas, how often the weather in the Gotthard region changes from summer to winter on a typical day in April, and why our production material still smells of fire and forests? Then check out the “making of” video.
